Rafting Guides

Bucking Rainbow is proud to employ some of the finest whitewater guides in the state of Colorado. Our friendly staff is locally based; living, working and playing in the beautiful Yampa Valley. As ambassadors of our shop, we understand the importance guides play in making sure your family has a safe and fun trip down the river. As a result, every guide is both state certified and medically trained. Approximately 90% of our staff has trip leader status, and 60% has instructor status with over 1,500 miles spent commercially guiding on the river.

At Bucking Rainbow, we retain some of the best guides in the state. Our senior guides have been with the Company for an average of 12 years. Whether you are looking for a mild scenic float for the family or an adrenaline packed whitewater trip, our crew is eager to share their enthusiasm of the sport.
