Fly Fishing> Float Trips> Swift Ranch
The Swift Ranch is a great full day trip for skilled anglers looking for absolute privacy, great fishing and terrific scenery. The North Platte meanders through canyons deemed wild and scenic by the State of Colorado. Very few get the opportunity to fish this stretch of water. The window for float fishing is June-mid July. There is a Salmon fly hatch for a brief period that is absolutely incredible. The one draw back of this stretch is the take out. Be prepared to pack your boat and gear out of the canyon at the end of the day.
